Highly theatrical, hilariously candid, and sexy to boot, Gilda Wabbit has been singing, shimmying, and strutting her way across NYC since December of 2015. Classically trained at the University of Kentucky (A Top 20 Richard Tucker School for Opera), Gilda's vocal talents allow her to tackle music from Puccini to P!nk, Sondheim to S Club 7, Weber to Weird Al!  This Wabbit is versatile  and virtuosic.

When she's not showing off her talents (and her gams) in bars and theaters, Gilda Wabbit has a passion for the political. Recently she was featured in the internet meme, "The Future Liberals Want", based on a photo by Boubah Barry. After going viral, Gilda was interviewed by media agencies including BBC Newsbeat, Buzzfeed, Mediaite, and Wired. This brief dip in the pool of internet celebrity allowed Gilda to speak about diversity, immigration, our current political climate, and the need for drag in the fight to move humanity forward.

She hopes to continue using her talents and charm to entertain, educate, and inspire audiences. After all, it's Wabbit Season!

— BBC Newsbeat Interview
I won’t speak for all liberals, but my goal is for everyone — white, brown, drag queen, soccer mom, cisgender, trans, heterosexual, queer, working class, middle class — to be able to exist as they choose without judgement or fear.
— Buzzfeed Feature
If we can come to have empathy for each other, we can come to a place where we can find common ground and move forward. That’s the goal.
— Wired Article
The freedom to simply be yourself in a sea of people who aren’t like you is a freedom we all deserve.
